I have a 92 na body and i have a 96 tt motor i was looking around ot see which ecu upgrade i should use and i came across conceptzperformance ecu upgrade. I emailed the company and asked if they could flash my 92 na ecu to match my 96 tt motor and be upgraded. he said i have to change my vtc solenoid from my old na motor onto my new 96 tt motor for it to work. Both motors look like they have the same exact piece on them do i have to chnage them? do i really have a 96 tt motor or is it from a different year? i read 96 tt motors dont have vtc solenoids and my motor cleary does. I dont know what to do i dont want to rip off my intake manifold and valve covers on both motors just to chnage the same part over. help please!
